Keeping up with the Stenzels: January 2012

Walking and climbing!

Peyton has always been quite the climber and always climbs on top of Olivia's table in the living room and gets in trouble! She is really close to walking by herself but just doesn't trust herself enough to let go! She walks with all of her walking toys all the time and will take about 4 steps at a time on her own when she wants to but then just drops and crawls because it's faster. Little stinker!

She stands all by herself forever and dances all the time but won't walk more than 4 steps!

Liv's first Dance recital!

The weekend of Peyton's birthday party, Liv had her first dance recital! It was a practice one before the real recital on the big stage in May where they get to wear their pretty costumes! The main focus is to get them used to the stage....which was a good thing because she was terrified! She even asked if she could go and sit in the audience and watch before it started :) Once she got out there with all of the other kids she did fine so hopefully in May she won't be so afraid! After watching all of the big girls dance after that she told us she wants to do tap dancing so we'll see how that goes!

Ducks all in a row....

Peyton's new thing is to line up all of her ducks and bath toys along the side of the tub. She will go and get them one at a time from the basket and come over and set them on the ledge. It's pretty funny....until Liv comes in and knocks them all down!

Happy 1st Birthday Peytor Bug!!!

I don't know where the last year went but Peyton is already 1!!! It is so hard to believe! She is the sweetest and snuggliest little girl and we love her so much! Here are some pictures from her birthday party! Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us! It was a great day and she is one lucky little lady to have so many great people in her life!
